Types of Services and Payment

Initial Intake Session (60 minutes): $200

Ongoing Individual Sessions (45-50 minutes): $125

Extended Therapy Session (60 minutes): $150

Intensive EMDR Therapy Session (90 minutes): $200

Insurance

Mira is credentialed with and is an in network provider with most Health Partners, Medica/UHC/Optum, and Hennepin Health health care plans. As insurance plans can vary, please check with your insurance carrier to confirm your benefits.

Self Pay/Private Pay Practice

Some individuals prefer not to utilize their health insurance benefits for therapy. While there are many reasons for this, this allows for greater flexibility in the amount of time I am able to provide to you based on your unique needs (45 minutes all the way up to a 90-minute EMDR intensive session). When I am not utilizing insurance as your therapist, I am not bound by the same guidelines about giving diagnoses, submitting your private health information to them, or by a set number of sessions.

All self-pay session fees are paid for in full on the day of service and are payable by credit card. You are able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or FSA (Flexible Savings Account) cards to pay for therapy sessions. Cummins Counseling LLC does not submit any paperwork to insurance on your behalf, but I am happy to provide you with an itemized receipt, called a “super bill” that you may submit to your insurance company to try and get out-of-network (OON) reimbursement.
